What It Is #
Dark Web Gateway is an optional private access feature for Invisible-Internet hosting customers. It lets a customer or approved team member browse I2P and onion sites from a normal browser using a private managed gateway, without installing Tor or I2P locally.
Why It Is Useful #
- Use one browser proxy profile instead of installing and maintaining local hidden-network software.
- Reach selected .onion and .i2p destinations through the hosting environment you selected.
- Test your own hidden-service routes from a customer-style browser setup.
- Keep access private to your customer/team workflow rather than publishing a public proxy.
How Browser-Profile Access Works #
The intended customer experience is a browser proxy profile, such as a FoxyProxy-style configuration, that sends hidden-network requests through a managed gateway. Internally, Invisible-Internet can place an authenticated gateway in front of local hidden-network forwarding so access can be controlled, revoked, and limited.
Requirement #
Dark Web Gateway is available only when Tor or I2P is selected for the hosting package. Without at least one hidden-network route, there is no hidden-network client for the gateway to use.

- Public open proxy access
- Customer resale of proxy access
- Tor exit service
- VPN service
- Reverse proxy hosting
- General clearnet proxying
- Ad injection or page modification
- Guarantees of perfect anonymity or complaint immunity
Future Upgrades #
Future paid upgrades may include extra users, managed proxy profiles, credential rotation, dedicated gateway capacity, destination allow/block lists, access-control reporting, and priority setup support.
